Terms, in plain language

These are the terms for using this website and the demos on it, written the way we would explain them out loud.

Paid work is governed by the proposal you sign, not by this page. Prices here carry real numbers, so nothing arrives at the end as a surprise. Ask us anything on this page before you agree to it.

Who these terms are with

Last updated 10 August 2026.

This site is run by Swann, an AI and automation studio in Cape Town, trading as Swann Digital Solution. Registration and postal details are available on request at [email protected] or +27 73 932 6852.

Using the site means these terms apply to you. They do not replace a signed proposal or contract, and where the two differ, the signed document wins.

Using the site

Read it, quote it, send it to a colleague. If you quote a chunk of it in public, link back to us.

The text, the design and the demos are ours. Please do not copy the site wholesale or pass our material off as somebody else's work.

We keep the pages accurate and current. We do not promise the site is never offline, and a page written today may be out of date in a year. Nothing here is a formal offer on its own. A price becomes binding when it sits in a quote with your name on it.

The two kinds of demo

Example demo, sample data

Runs in your browser on documents we made up. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. The output is realistic and it is prepared in advance. It shows the shape of the result, not a live calculation on your business.

Live demo, your own files

You identify yourself, then upload your own documents and they are processed for real. The rules apply every time:

  • they are deleted within seven days
  • only upload documents you are allowed to share, and if they contain someone else's personal or confidential information, get permission first

Demo output is an example. Check it before using it for anything that carries a cost or a commitment. A demo is not a delivered product and it carries no warranty.

Published prices, and the bands behind them

Prices on this site are starting points for a standard version of that work.

WhatPublished starting price
WebsiteR12,000
Online shopR28,000
One tidy place where your customers and jobs liveR20,000
One screen that shows what is happeningR15,000
Care planR7,000 per year

Work that used to be quoted with no number attached now has a straight answer here, so you can judge it before you are committed.

WhatWhere most jobs landWhat moves the number
Your first agentFree to put in for a standard build, quoted before we start if it is complex. Then a monthly subscription: from R1,000, from R2,500 or from R5,000 a month, depending on how much work the agent doesHow many exceptions the job has, how many people have to approve something, and how many of your documents look different from each other
Getting two tools talkingQuoted per job, and you see the number before anything startsWhether both systems have a proper way in, and how old the older one is
Cleaning up data before it movesQuoted per job, and you see the number before anything startsHow many records there are, and how many duplicates
A mapping workshop with a written costed planR14,500Nothing. It is a fixed day, and it comes off the first build if you go ahead within sixty days.

Your written quote is the price. It lists what is included and what is not, it holds for thirty days, and the payment terms are on it. Prices on this page can change. A quote you already hold cannot.

Documents, and what they cost

Documents we generate and send for signature are R24.90 each, flat. No bands, no volume discount.

Putting a standard document setup in place costs nothing. A complex one, with many different layouts or a lot of photographs rather than files, is quoted before we start.

Reading paperwork that arrives, rather than documents we send out for signature, is an agent: free to put in for a standard build, quoted before we start if it is complex, then a monthly subscription from R1,000, from R2,500 or from R5,000 a month, depending on how much work it does.

Care plans, and work outside one

A care plan is for your website and app, from R7,000 a year. What it covers is written on the plan, and it normally includes:

  • watching that the automations actually ran, and telling you before you notice they did not
  • fixing what breaks when a supplier changes their system
  • small changes to wording, rules and rates as the business changes
  • a named person to call, with an answer inside one working day

Without a care plan there is no meter ticking in the background. You are billed nothing until you ask for something. Work is then quoted per job, and you see the number before anything starts.

If something we built broke because of the way we built it, we fix it and you are not billed, care plan or not.

Either side can end a care plan with thirty days notice in writing. You keep everything that was built and the documentation that goes with it.

An AI agent runs on its own monthly subscription instead of a care plan. It runs month to month, either side can stop it, and your data and the process map stay yours.

How paid work is agreed

01

A written proposal

What we build, what it costs, how long it takes, and what we need from you to hit that date.

02

You sign it

That document, not this page, governs the work.

03

We build

You see progress as it happens, not silence followed by a launch.

04

You sign off

You check it does what the proposal said before the final invoice.

05

After that

Support and changes run under a care plan for a website, under the monthly subscription for an agent, or quoted per job, whichever the proposal set out.

What AI output is, and is not

The agents we build draft, sort, extract and flag. They are good at it and they are not perfect.

  • Every build is designed so a person can check the work, and the proposal names the steps that need a human eye.
  • Nothing we produce is legal, financial, tax or medical advice. A drafted quote is a draft until you send it.
  • Models change over time. On an agent, the monthly subscription covers the model costs and the changes that follow.
  • Where accuracy has to be certain, we will say plainly that the step should stay manual, or that a plain rule is safer than an intelligent one.

Your material, ours, and how you would leave

Your data stays yours. Your documents, your customer records, your content: we claim no ownership and take no copy beyond what a job requires.

Once a project is paid for, the configuration and the custom work are yours to keep and to have maintained by somebody else if you choose. That includes the handover document naming every connection, the account it runs under and what it is allowed to touch. It is written as the build happens, so you are not waiting on us to produce it if the relationship ends.

The build runs in your accounts, so leaving us switches nothing off. There is no licence with us to expire.

We keep our own building blocks: the components, patterns and templates we bring to every project. Those stay ours and we reuse them, which is part of why the work costs less than building from nothing.

We ask before naming you as a client anywhere public, and no is a complete answer.

Responsibility, and the law that applies

We take responsibility for the work we do and we fix what we break.

We are not responsible for the tools you already run, for a supplier changing their product, or for losses that follow on from an issue rather than being caused directly by it, such as lost profit. Where liability is capped, it is capped at what you paid us for the piece of work in question.

These terms are governed by South African law and disputes go to the courts of the Western Cape. Before anyone reaches for a lawyer, phone +27 73 932 6852. Most of it gets sorted in one conversation.
