What the AI is actually doing
It reads a picture, not a file
There is no text layer in a photograph. The model looks at the image the way a person does and finds the supplier, the date and the total wherever they happen to sit on that slip, which is different on every till roll.
It works out the VAT
Some slips print the VAT, some print a total and a VAT number. It splits the amount off the rate and puts it in its own column, ready to claim.
It categorises from your own list
Fuel, materials, client entertainment. The categories are yours, taken from your accounts at setup, so the sheet posts without anyone remapping it.
It writes the row, not a summary
Supplier, date, total, VAT and category land in the sheet your bookkeeper already works from. Nothing is retyped between the photo and the ledger.

Before you send us anything
No. Every demo on this page plays on our sample with nothing to fill in. The three fields come only when you want your own material to go through the agent, and we use them to come back to you about it.
It goes to our server and straight to the model that reads it. It is not written to disk, so there is no copy on our side to delete. The result sits in your browser tab. Your name, email and business go to our CRM, and we delete those the same day if you ask. The model provider, what is kept and the POPIA position are on the governance and security page.
